After the problems caused at both Stockport and Cheltenham, in the first case by unreserved seating and in the second by people failing to sit in their reserved seat, it seems that LCFC now has made a clear decision on the matter. Along with the Leyton Orient tickets which I received in the post this morning (though not with the ones received last week) there is a small note which reads:

Polite Notice
Please respect your fellow
supporters when following
Leicester City away from
home, by sitting in your
respective seat/s as shown
on your match ticket.

Not the best English I have ever read but a clear message nonetheless.

a clear message nonetheless.
The people who sit in the seats of others, already know the rules.

These are just pig ignorant, thick people and this message will still not get across to them.

They will still sit in the seats, argue the toss with the stewards and refuse to move, the coppers will be called in as a last resort, they'll still refuse to move and then get ejected after ruining the first twenty minutes of everybody else's game.

They'll then no doubt complain about the bullying tactics of the stewards and the police.

In both instances of Stockport and Cheltenham, it's been poor show from them two clubs.

Stockport did the unreserved seating thing when there were numbers on the tickets and the stand was full. Whilst at Cheltenham, we had stewards who weren't brilliant at pointing out which seat people were supposed to be seating in and a figure on your ticket such as 'G187'. No-one had a clue what it meant on initial reading, no clear indication that the letter was your row and the number your seat.

Many of them use the excuse that they have been told by the ticket office that they can sit where the like. In the future they can hardly claim to have been told that.

We know what happened at Stockport - an error was made by Stockport in that they at first said it would be unrestricted, changed their minds and then were forced to change it back again.

As far as Cheltenham is concerned, what else could anybody have thought that 'G187' meant. No elevation to the priesthood is surely needed to recognise it as a Row Letter and a Seat Number.

I never got that in with the 4 I received last week, so I will sit in your seat if I choose Mr Wood :icon_lol:

Even when the stands are half full it would make sense to ask people to sit in their seat as per ticket first so not to piss people off, I would think anyway
