Dear Talking Ballsers
At the moment I am sitting in bliss at the thought of our new manager, and here are some reasons why.
1- Sacking Basset - A positive move and judging by fish face's reaction in Portsmouth, I wonder if maybe this was an underlying problem all along too, I don't think the 'Director of Football' role works in this country.
2- Wanting youth - He has spoken about this at length and at last those who have come past their prime are being told they need to shape up if they want a game, and also the concentration has switched towards our younger lot which will serve us well in time i am sure.
3 - Playing Scowcroft up front - This is the right position for Scowie IMO and also will entertain less long ball nonsense, even though he's a genius in the air, he's also adept at playing the ball to feet which is exactly what connoly needs.
4 - Wingers - Pinch yourselves, but we have wingers again...
5 - The response - The players looked happier this week, 3-0 home win, Levein looked over-the-moon with the goals...
