Anybody heard these? Quite like the single but the other stuff I've heard is awful

Playing Sumo on Saturday.

Got tickets to go with a group of mates so should be a good laugh

I'd agree..HF but they have established the 'Hard-Fi' attitude already. Upstarts but with an arrogant attitude. One of the songs on myspace sounds like an East 17 demo.

I like the Single but the other stuff I've heard sounds like The Streets

Nope but The Twang grew up and looked up to The Streets as being a same city band. The same way any bunch of kids in Leicester now look up to Kasabian.

I read an interview with The Twang and the lead referenced Mike Skinner says he wants to meet him.

I didn't realise Skinner was a brummy. Why does he put in that silly London accent?

No idea but he is a Birmingham City and grew up in Brum.

Not true. My mate's band played their first gig about the same time Kasabian made it big. He's met them, thinks they are arrogant wankers, thinks they are over-rated (I think so too) and they would be the last band he looks up to.

Your mate's had the 'pleasure' of meeting Kasabian which changes opinion. It's an invidiuial case.

Any kid who has an interest in indie music (which is a good 65% now) and whose yet to come across em only has one opinion of them, that they are Leicester boys done good.

In the same way in the interview about The Twang, the lead said Mike Skinner was his hero but he had meet him. So he only had one opinion of him a Brummie done good.

Thinking about the 'over-rated' tag to Kasabian is bit of an enigma because really it's only the media which has hyped them up as the greatest thing since sliced bread. People I speak to who like him never refer to them has an incredible, dynamic band, just a good, decent band who happen to be immense live and border with Muse has the UK's best live act.
