The Rapture been out for a while, their first album is highly recommend DD. The second album a bit hit and miss, Get Myself Into It And WAYUH are good-uns however.

My Computer - They were a Manchester band, but they split up a couple of years ago I think. Anyway they did 2 albums 2002's "Vulnerabilia" is a fecking classic. Their 2005 album "No CV" is also great too. I only discovered them a month or so ago

Try and track down one of their first singles, House Of Jealous Lovers.

I hope Interpol make it really big in the UK with this album, they deserve to be as big as U2!

I would much prefer if they stayed humble and in the distance, it would be a disaster for them to go the same way as U2. I hope they keep making quality music instead of chasing a commerical album.

Really good stuff. I don't think it sounds much like Joy Division, Radiohead or The Killers though.

P.S. The singer sounds almost exactly like Paul Barnes from Interpol :icon_wink

They should pretty much breakthrough with their new album in a couple of weeks, the best song have heard them do is a cover of a song from the 90s, Not Over Yet.
