Manchester United 3:0 Newcastle United

Both Maniac and Franks get the result (and the rest of the world) get the result but both miss out on anything better.




Young Boys 3:2 Tottering Hotspurts

With Maniac failing to put in a prediction, Franks only has to put the ball into an empty net - but no, he had Tottenham for the win!




So we move onto the Thursday tea-time match at the Gerhard Hanappi. It's anybody's game - but don't forget - once somebody gets ahead, the final whistle will blow.

No points for either Maniac or Franks from the Rapid/Villa tie - and they've both predicted the same for the Liverpool game. I'm beginning to think that neither of them want to get through to the next round.
