Nugent was training today. Not sure if that was contractually or not.

Re: Pre season training

Get the useless shit eaters up Beacon Hill unless we want to be relegated.

Shambles

When does Nugent, whilst not having signed a new contract, stop being able to train with the squad?

When we tell him so I expect, so long as there's a hope or expectation that he'll sign sending him home would be daft

He may have an agreement with the club that whilst negotiations are ongoing he trains as normal. I guess this would stop when / if talks completely stopped and he moved to a new club.

No reason for him to stop training if we're expecting him to sign - he'll want to train either way and we need him to be if we want him to sign. I guess he's effectively a trialist at the moment.

The Merc says his new contract should be announced within the next few days anyway

What is all this? Why are you complicating things? He hasn't signed elsewhere, and he hasn't been released. He's still an LCFC player, and he'll be on a rolling contract until he signs a proper one (edit: or is released). His contract expiry doesn't magically ban him from the training ground.

Has anyone identified the problem with the colour of the flowers at the training ground yet? They simply have to be right.
