I see it as a Welshman trying to instil a sense of "it is possible" for his side.
I see it as a pundit lacking insight and saying something over-egged and contentious in order to generate calls to his phone-in. Which is what I see everytime he's opens his mouth. He's not the only one at all, but his approach to punditry is terrible and a blight that all broadcasters subject us to too much
 
I believe Savage has admitted that he doesn't even write his column. He speaks to a journalist for a few minutes and some complete horseshit appears in print.

I was unfortunate enough to catch ‘Latenight football club’ last night hosted by Savage on the BBC, apparently it’s for Welsh fans, and turned out to be a procession of guests telling Savage what a legend he is.

I've said a few times that there is no way that the club can proceed with their stadium development without a substantial capital investment. This can either come from King Power themselves, a new investor taking a chunk of the club or new owners.

I wondered whether setting out the share types and valuations like this made it more likely that one of the above scenarios was imminent.

As much as I don’t understand it properly, it looks like a structuring geared towards that sort of thing to me.
