Thimbnail Size

At the moment I use "large" for my thumbnail pictures, This gets me 44 pictures to a page. If I go to Extra Large I get 6 pictures. Extra large is too big for what I need but "large" is not large enough.
Is there any way I can adjust the size of the thumbnails so that I can get around 30 thumbnails to a page?

Is this on a computer, tablet or phone? What software or app are you viewing your pictures in?

I am using a laptop with Windows 10. I view the pictures in Photo Viewer although I sometimes use Photo to enhance and Paint to resize.
