Tiatto rues poor start

Leicester midfielder Danny Tiatto believes the club would be challenging at the top of the table had they managed to find their current form earlier.

With City languishing in the Championship relegation zone during January, manager Craig Levein was sacked and replaced by Rob Kelly until the end of the season.

Now Leicester have climbed to ninth bottom and lie 13 points clear of the danger zone.

Tiatto said: "We've taken 20 points out of a maximum possible 27 from out last nine games. Currently we're averaging better than two points per match and that's championship form.

"We're now putting together a sequence of results which we know we've always been capable of and with which we would have dearly loved to have begun the season."

It is indeed up at the end of the season. I'd be astonished if we offered him another deal. Although he is always talked about my managers as a 'big player' for us :102: :102:

what at 5' 6"............

lets hope its not the same story next year. :038:

just needs a couple of games of shouting his name and we've got the dion situation from last year starting again...."dion, dion, dion" i said those who shouted that were all arseholes, and how right i was proved to be

I'll be sorry to see him go.

I know there's a lot of bad things you can say about him. His constant giving away of free kicks is a prime example.
But for me he was always a player who gave 100%, always got involved in the game and never went missing. If Williams had his attitude he'll be one of the best midfielders in the division.

i'd give 100% but i'm shite, would you be sorry to see me go? not having a go mate but i've said the same sort of thing about tiatto, stood for a minute and thought 'nah, feck it he can sign on like anyone else would'

He is a liability - too many bookings.

Yeah, but there are players in our team that (pre-kelly) didn't give 100%.
I would have like to have seen him play in the middle of the park. Lennon style - only sh!tter!

there are players that even with kelly dont give it their all, but i'd still have tiatto away from the place. in all honesty i think he does tend to play in the middle even when told to play wide, and doesnt do the best job there either

You've got to wonder whether CL asked him to do that through! Purely because he did it so often. If the manager didn't want him coming in to the middle then surely he would say something...unless he was a piss poor manager......hold on....

didnt pay a fee as long as i can remember, but the amount wasted in wages has got to be stupid. then when he's never there we make him captain, good sense!
