Durham Fox

El Dude Brother.
What a people's opinion on him? It seems quite divided. I for one don't rate him, I hate the way he dribbles himself in to trouble and loses the ball. I also find his habitual fouling a pain and he often ends up costing us goals from giving away free kicks in dangerous areas from silly fouls.

At the beginning of last season he seemed like a breath of fresh air, being man of the match almost every week. But slowly he seems to have got worse and worse in my opinion. Whereas his runs used to be skillful and inventive he now just seems to run into trouble at every given opportunity. Scored a good goal today and hopefully that will signal an upturn in his form which has been sorely lacking for some months now.

Didn't really take to him like many others did. Too many bookings, for one. A good squad player, but no more. Surprised he is club captain.

I would imagine he is Captain because of his attitude,I think CL commented on how he likes Tiatto's attitude and that what he wants to see from all his players. As a Player I don't think he's ideal for the left and I would much rather see him playing in the middle. He's the best we've got for the left though unless Hammill is better, don't rate Wilcox at all.

tiatto is a liability imo
he drifts inside far too many times, leaving us exposed down the left with only an unexperienced gilbert back. He gives away far too many free kicks in dangerous positions and gets too many needless bookings. I can see why CL chose him as captain because of his work rate and tenacity but he is a hindarence to the team and will cause far too many goals against this season due to leaving the left flank exposed and giving free kicks outside the area. I would play wilcox this season as he can cross the ball and had a resonable start and have maybury as captain.

the main reason why he infuriates me!

he's picked to play left WING...not central midfield.... so he should spend at least some of the game near the touchline...shouldn't he...

I think saying he is a liabilty is a little harsh on him.

He is over passionate. Which is nice to see in the blue of leicester and something many of the players in our large turnover in the past few seasons have been lacking.

I realise that the number of bookings he picks up is very high, too high in fact and this is something that is unlikely to change at this stage in his career.

I thought his goal yesterday was very good and it was good to see we had obviousl been working on a different free kick in training.

I will reserve judgement till around another month or so when he will be no doubt suspended and then I can truly slag him off.;)

so cl likes his attitude? well as captain shouldnt he be the one rallying the troops on the pitch :102: not much evidence of that yesterday dublin was doing the shouting and organising, and as for him giving stupid free kicks away.......

I think we are viewing Tiatto and his contribution a little unfairly, I felt the same as many others, that he doesnt produce on the left wing, he rarely crosses and rarely creates, but he always gives 110% effort, is committed and passionate. But then I read an interview or it was a Q & A session, where CL divulged that he likes Tiatto to play the left hand side narrower and tuck in more.

So from that view point it is clear that Tiatto is following team instructions, I agree that his indiscipline can cost us at times, but personally I feel that his commitment, energy and work rate are a key element of the team play. Last season we were so poor as a team that Tiatto stood out because at the time his style of play was so refreshing compared to many of the lucklustre displays from his fellow team mates. Now this season we have a team that as a whole displays a much better work ethic, we also have a more technically gifted side this season so therefore Danny now no longer stands out, he has never been that type of player, however he does provide a key ingredient to the overall receipe and IMO we would miss him over a long run of matches were he to be unavailable.
