Tips for Business

Good Morning to All,

Well i will this short.
I am looking to start my food business, i don't know if anyone has or thought about it as well, i am new to this i have no business background, i want to change my job and salary off course i cannot see myself doing this for the rest of my life.

I have started looking into new business starter's guides and things

What i would like advice with is such things like:

Business Plan ideas
Business Loans
Cash Flows
Reserach and marketing
Etc.

I am aware some of you guys have your own business or taken over family business so i am expecting some advice for the expirenced guys.

This is much appeicated and if all goes well and your in Amsterdam, the beers on me!!

I doubt this would be of much interest to you but i'll let you know anyway. A guy who does my Cricket club tea's owns his own cob shop in my village called Simply Delicious. He opened it up 2 years ago. Since then he has made 3 times his initial outlay back in profit. I was talking to him and he says he doesn't do jobs for very long. he starts his business, makes his money and then sells up after 2-3 years. I know its a different country but he is actually selling up and if a change of scenery (i don't suspect you'd want to one bit) is on the cards then let me know and i will forward you his number because it is a gold mine. His customer base is established too.

That's what he says. As per my first reply he has made treble his money back in profit and according to him he works for 2-3 years maximum in whatever he does and then gets out. Strange i know. If i was making his kind of money i wouldn't be selling up

That doesn't tell us much if we don't know how much his initial outlay was. Was his initial outlay £3 on a loaf of bread, some margarine and some cheese?
