What a twat, he could have ruined the game. Showed cards just for the sake of it.

And what the feck was wrong with his arm?

We had him a few seasons ago, not sure if it's deformed or false.

I heard all the boos surrounding the incident with McCarthy and I'm afraid I'm on the side of the ref.

I for one don't want referees to have any power to use their initiative when it comes to the rules. A rule is a rule, and he stuck to the letter of the law. Good refereeing IMO. All to often referees have their own interpretation of the rules and it's bollox.

Also 7 minutes was pretty fair TBH, but maybe on the excessive side but not unjustified, a lot of subs and a lot of injuries in the 2nd half

i agree with the seven minutes and i think most city fans would agree too! after all you cant disagree with the officials time keeping devices.

Talking of the McCarthy incident when he went off the oitch to change his shirt etc. he was with the 2 physio's and a bloke who seemed to come from stands came over and had a look at his nose, anyone know who he was?

I was just letting him know that I saw the incident and gave hin my card. Whats wrong with that:icon_lol:

Good team effort today. And although he didn't score I have to say well done to Elvis. He ran his bollocks off. Well pleased with him. Controversial but I thought Hume and Elvis were a better partnership than Hume and Fryatt:eek:

Keep it up Elvis. Don't ponder, just shoot. Use that pace!

I think this was more due to the fact that Hume was better than he has been since last season. Hammond is a good back up striker, but I would hate to see us starting with him all season.

I agree Hume and Elvis played well, but on the whole so did most of the other lads out there, Fantastic result and great entertainment glad I got a ticket for this one!

He's the chap we had at Coventry last season - the one that sent Kisnorbo off. He never got to grips with that game either. He basically a League 1/League 2 ref who gets occasional outings in the Championship.

Put referee Keith Hill into Google and this is what you get on the first page:

  • Haynes then followed Chris Plummer into referee Keith Hill's book, both for fouls, in a first-half hindered by petty hold-ups. ...
  • IRATE Clarets boss Stan Ternent claimed referee Keith Hill is not good enough ...
  • ... the home team, who were ably assisted by a twelfth man in the form of referee Keith Hill.
  • Referee Keith Hill was at the centre of another red card storm ...
  • REFEREE Keith Hill took centre stage as Cherries crashed out of the LDV Vans Trophy on ...
  • REFEREE Keith Hill left Cherries with a mountain to climb.
Good, eh!?!

What's wrong with his arm? Looks like what they call a withered arm - no idea whether its genetic, a birth defect, result of an accident or what. Dirty sod seems to keep his hankie in his left hand trouser pocket though and then because he can't reach it, hr wipes his ****ing nose with the sleeve of his shirt. The twat should be made to keep his red and yellow cards in that pocket, if you ask me!
