Why should Leicester arrange for Tommy Wright not to feature in this match? What is the point in him going out on loan then?

Of course, he could be the arcitect of our downfall in this tie. But if he's not good enough not to even get on our bench, what have we got to fear?

Good question. :102:

because it would upset the fans if he did score the winner. Wouldnt look to good on the club and he is a bit of a fans favourite, if only for his name, maybe the club are doing it to save face if he did go on to score the winner?:102:

just a thought.

To stop what Cresswell done last season to City. Wright playing against his owner club would have to impress, he could also show up a few established players. I.e. Looking a better player than MDV.

that's the only reason why he is not playing, to spare Levein's potential blushes!

I find that rather pathetic. Levein's made the decision to loan him out for 'first team experience', and he's disqualified from playing against superior opposition, something that i thought would have benefited tommy wright a lot!

Would you still be saying that if broke Hughes leg during the game or smeared Nissa's nose across his face (like he did to my mate last season)???????

It's just standard procedure isn't it? You look very stupid when your own players out on loan score against you. How do people read something negative about CL from this? :102: :102: :102:

As i understand it, a fee has been agreed for a permanent move if the loan goes well, so he isn't there for first team experience, rather to earn a contract.

His mate scored tonight, that will please him. Maybe his dad could text in to Radio Leicester again.

TW isn't good enough for our team but that doesn't mean he wouldn't of done what Lua Lua did for Portsmouth against Newcastle a few seasons ago, so it was a good idea to include that in the contract ;)

Apart from the obvious thing about players not playing against their own club, maybe Tommy wouldn't have been allowed to play whoever Blackpool had been drawn against, in case we need him later in the competition.

I'm sure he'd have been on the bench tonight if he'd still been with us (CL pretty much said as much before the game), and it would be foolish to allow him to play when there's a possibility he might be useful to us later in the season.

and is a fair shout from CL

I don't think anybody rates him! Whenever I have seen him, it is apparent he has not improved at all, in fact he has gone backwards.
