Anyone going to the "consultation" meeting at the Walkers multi sports stadium tomorrow night ?

I just can't make up my mind whether it is worth the effort, as I'm convinced this is a done deal.

Does anyone know if there is any free food on offer ?

Prawn sandwiches.

It'll be full of rugger fans playing pork swords with each other.

not sure about it all, not against the idea, but not for it either. it works out good money wise, but not sure.

sod off mate. we pay over the odds for everything.

At times that seems a typical City fans attitude - what can I get for nothing!

Make the effort everybody stop being so apathetic

can you blame us?

people pay for season tickets/match tickets for home games, then away games whcih are bout £20 (more for local derby's) for an adult, then the cost of getting to the games. some people spend a fortune on all this, then you have the prices of shirts, etc.

if people do turn up, i don't hold much faith that there views will be taken into account, most likely just listened to then ignored.

oh any fans fixtures coming up or are we going to have to pay full whack.
silly question

50 people eh, thats the spirit all you moaners. Honestly, I think that most people that oppose almost everything the board suggests actually prefer them to go ahead so they can continue to moan!

If the plans get shelved, what can they whinge about?

Can we suggest you read the articles on www.foxestrust.com

We are doing what a fans organisation should do on large issues & consultating our members, whose views we are publishing on our website in a series of articles.

Once the results of our members survey are compiled & we have obtained further information from the club, then we will declare our support or otherwise for ground sharing.

At this stage we are feeding back to the club what fans are looking for is the proposal goes ahead & it looks as though one of those things, safe standing is being looked at seriously, which a section of our fans will eally welcome

You think the moaners do any research? Come on, all they do is pontificate and whinge. You have to give the information to them in their lap, at which point they'll say "well its just propaganda or lies" and not bother reading it, so they can live in their ivory tower and continue their whinging.

Any information or actions that could/should/would stop said moaning is not in their interests I'm afraid.

If we are allowed a safe standing area as part of this deal, I will happily sign over my house, sell all of my belongings and give all of the proceeds to the Foxes Trust

What complete and utter tosh

By the time you have finally declared your support or otherwise for this deal, they will be busily painting the seats red white and green.

They will be if you don't get off your arse and make your (and the other fans who oppose the groundshare) feelings known.

Surely 'Its a done dea' Is just a way of absolving yourself from making any effort, and any effort that is made by others can be seen (if it fails) as further proof it was a done deal.

My sludge bucket and trowel

Seems amazing, Dunc, that you have made the assumption that my absence (and anyone else's for that matter) from last nights meeting was due to the fact that I couldn't be bothered to go - rather than the fact that I was actually working

Also amazing that you have insider info about how I (and everyone else again) has not got off their arse to raise their concerns direct to Davies, or other officials at the club

Nice to know that complete generalisation and blind assumption is alive and well these days

Foxes Trust, are you personally For or Against?

Also, Dunc, has the bird in your avatar got smelly arm pits?
