Too many older players

One thing that strikes me about having older players in the side, is that we can get into a "too many Chiefs and not enough Indians" scenario. I saw in another post that Dublin and Keown were "having as discussion", and I am suggesting that part of the MA "problem" was that he hired people close to his own age that felt comfortable suggesting their own opinion.

This is fine unless the older players feel better qualified than MA. I am not suggesting that this was the only reason, maybe just a factor in his leaving.

Major problem is too many old players and not any pace (in footballing terms).

Against QPR our average age of the starting 11 was 32!

Mind you there has already been some cracking games of cribbage on the team bus this season,real cliffhangers.There was one unsavioury moment though when Wilcox spilt his flask during one particulary tense game of Dominoes

Apparently the away trips can be a nightmare....The smell of piss from the older members of the squad on the long coach trips have been quite disturbing.
