Train Help Please

I'm at work and can only get on to the trainline website, all other ticket sites are inexplicably blocked.

I am working in London on Wednesday May 8th and need to be at St Pancras for no later than 11:30, will be returning to Leicester approximately 16:30 that day.

I can't remember the last time I went on a train so not particularly knowledgable on prices but the ones that are coming up seem pretty high!

Any expert help would be much appreciated.

There are currently advance purchase tickets available for £20 on the 9:57 from Leicester, getting to London at 11:16, and for £23 on the 16:15 back from London. If you can't make 16:15 there are £27 tickets available on the 17:00.

There are currently advance purchase tickets available for £20 on the 9:57 from Leicester, getting to London at 11:16, and for £23 on the 16:15 back from London. If you can't make 16:15 there are £27 tickets available on the 17:00.

These tickets would cost a pound less each if you buy from the East Midlands Trains website.

They should be available from all train ticket sites (I checked the prices on the East Coast site)

I went down to London last month and was told by the Head guy, who invited me down to collect my laptop I need for the job I'm doing for him, that he would give me £50 for coming down. So it is amazing how thrifty you can be when you can get down and back for somewhat less. Just under £35 including tube fares in my case.

As much as I'd like to go for the highest price first class ticket I won't get the money back from expenses until my May pay packet and I'm pretty skint at the moment!
