Regardless he has a point and this is a good news article if we are going to be seeing investment in the training ground.

Hoos has a new pay master now. Mandaric's only interest in the training ground was selling it for re-development & moving to use Loughboro Uni, while having good facilities would have meant the club didn't own its training ground.

Our new owners want the Academy to thrive & hope to create new rising stars from Thailand & the Far East, which would then attract a wider fan base & get more TV revenue from overseas. so want the best facilities now to do that

Every month I become a little more impressed with our current owners drive and ambition. Hoos, dick as though he sounds, is bang on the money when he cites Kevin Keegan...the training ground is an integral part of the club and any investment therein is a shrewd one.

Do you work in the PR section of the club per chance?

Yes, so do I . However, I also become a little more concerened as to what happens if we don't reach the PL (Premier Leauge, Promised Land). Money is being spent like water. Money that the club doesn't have. What happens when they decide enough's enough? I know that everyone claims that they are here for the long haul, but sooner or later, without PL and Sky money, he bubble's gonna burst. The concequences of which are too dire to contemplate.

I've been thinking along those lines for ages.

In my wilder moments I start to believe it might be for the best if that did happen.
