I have a work colleague who is a mad Tranmere fan and travels across the country to see them play every game.He was absolutely gutted to lose Hume and describes him as irreplacible. The guy couldnt speak highly enough of him and he was almost in tears as he spoke!!!!!!He reckons he is more than good enough at Championship level and would be very surprised if he is not a success for us.I trust this guys judgement. He knows what he's talking about.'I'm so excited, and i just can't hide it, i'm about to lose control and i think i like it..................!'

Steven, then what evidence have you acquired so far then that makes you so negative towards Humey ! Based on your comment above you should keep an open mind and only form your opinion on whether he is a good replacement for DC or an overated "attacking midfielder" once he has played a few games. Give the guy a chance for fook sake.

i dont think steven has been negative towards hume i think like me he would judge him either way after a he had played a reasonable amount of games, after all he wasnt pulling up trees at tranmere.the danger is that people (including myself) sometimes build players up too much and see them as a saviour (even to the point of calling for a 15 year old lad to play) and then they are quick to criticise as they fail to live up to high expectations, all this is born out of desperation for the club to do well as its been a long time since we all had smiles on our faces
