Transfer Deadline

With the transfer deadline looming, how about some guesses as to who might come in and who might leave. It's a bit of fun, so here's my thoughts:

1) Beckford to leave - West Ham with Maynard possibly coming the other way or we take the cash to spend elsewhere
2) Zakuani (Peterborough - central defender) to arrive, adding some much needed pace. St Ledger to go the other way (he started his career at Peterborough)
3) Back up keeper - no idea who though
4) Waghorn to leave - Derby/Sheffield Wednesday
5) Danns to leave - Crystal Palace
6) Gallagher to leave - Sheffield United

Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson has said he is not actively looking to make any more signings before the transfer window closes next week.

Pearson has recruited six players during the summer window but, with a week still to go, the City boss said he does not think there will be any more arrivals.

That's a load of bollocks. It says Dublin left in 2002, but he didn't join us until 2004.

More defenders. Another centre back (as SSL and Morgan didn't look that convincing together last season... unless Whitbread will be first choice when fit) and a back-up left back, since Kennedy seems out of the picture.
