Welcome to a week ago Newts!

If you rely on the club's official desktop news alerts thing, that's the last news they've given us. There could be thousands of people using this to get news from the club who don't even know Holloway has gone.
But they have helpfully told us there's a Topps tiles tournament at the stadium, and some other corporate thing. Wankers.

I particularly like the way that he points out that the teams who were promoted had high attendances - almost suggesting that the high attendances led to the promotion and ignoring the fact that the corollary is likely.

The whole article doesn't say much for his opinion of our intelligence, does it?

TBF, in my experience of the fans at football grounds, I think Milan is giving us too much credit for our intelligence levels.

I used to use this site for news from the club until recently when it didn't say that Ollie had gone, bloody amateurs at LCFC.

Can you run that past me again, Melts, I don't quite understand what you're saying there.
Football fans are thick c**ts, I think Milan knows that, but he just doesn't quite realise how thick.

Maybe I'm being a thick **** but all I can see in that article is a not-too-outrageous claim to have sold 400 season tickets in one day, and then the usual platitudes, along with the dodgy line about sales being "in line" with last season.

Which bit is the big conspiracy? :icon_conf

But it's just the usual sales flannel that's been going on in football, and every other industry for that matter, for donkey's years. Why does everyone expect LCFC to be a shining beacon of honesty and purity? It's a big brand company with a multi-million turnover - if anything, football clubs have to tread on eggshells in comparison to other companies of a similar size. And still they are criticized for what amounts to trying to sell more tickets.

I don't really get it. So you're probably right, I am being a thick ****! :)
