Allegedly going to them on loan today report a few CPFC fans.

He'd have to sign a contract with Leicester first, for it to be a loan.

There is every chance this has already happened. You know our club will normally tell us a day or two after it happens.

A short term loan could be good for us - someone else paying his wages while his fitness and ability is tested.

Send him for a month.

They hate Tunch, he'll turn up for his first day and the feckers will just lunge at him in the car park.

He wouldn't expect to walz back into the first team having been out so long, and with the money we have spent on our defence. Probably a good thing for everyone concerned. If fit Palace would have a decent player.

This will be a good move for him, he will improve his fitness and get game time hopefully.

Seems strange now they've taken these two on loan. Don't they have any players of their own?

Crystal Palace have added to their side by signing defenders Andrew Davies and Ryan McGivern on 28-day loans.

Davies, 26, moved to Stoke City in 2008 but has made just four appearances in three years.

The former England Under-21 international has spent much of the last few years out on loan, including spells at Preston and Middlesbrough.

Manchester City defender McGivern, 21, made 15 appearances while on loan at League One side Walsall last season.

McGivern may have come on a little perhaps? Unconvincing (awful) here though.

Andrew Davies is a good player, that's a decent signing, particularly if they may get him permanently.

Which is where the injury first occurred.. I bloody hate Palace.
How ironic - I remember thinking at the time of the replay why doesn't NP play the reserve team - getting out of Div 1 was far more important than risking injury - the rest is history as they say - I would have thought Palace was the last place he'd want to be
