How important do you consider tonights game in the context of the fans psychology for the rest of the season?
Justified or not,the last 2 home games have seen the first signs of grumbling since NP was manager.
Would a win tonight finally silence any doubters and allow NP to do his job with the fans total support?
Alternatively Would a defeat send the alarm bells ringing to an extent that the team will struggle even more so, because they cant handle the pressure of the fans expectations ?

Imo its only 3 points on offer tonight, but the fans are unsettled so the implications of the result could be far greater.

I think all this is way over the top, maybe even more over the top than when people creamed themselves because we were top of the league.

It's early you simple little people, calm the **** down.

Judging by the post match thread, it looks like ' calm ' as gone out of the window:icon_conf

Person's got one thing going for him and that's there are a number of key players out injured. Once we get some competition back, it could work out for us. But in the meantime, it doesn't look like things are going to improve.

What key players are these? Dickov and DJ?

I've been very impressed with Nigel Pearson. I like his approach and his signings. I think we're lacking in sophistication but we are in Division 3 so we really shouldn't need much.

My issue is with players not giving their all. We have had them in numbers ever since Twaylor brought a load of them here. Adams made it much worse and every manager since has taken us backwards until Pearson arrived.

I'm actually pleased with tonights result. It's been obvious for a while that we've got passengers that needed dropping. It needed something like this to make Pearson do it. I'm hoping for a different look and approach on Saturday and hopefully some improvement.

Yes, Dickov! Maybe DJ, though the guy is injury prone and never gets a run of games.
Believe it or not I'm longing for Clemence to get back. Compared to Andy King, Clemence is Pele.

We need both Gilbert and Mattock to get up and running.

These may not be spectacular players, but they'll do the job in this division compared to some of the players that are in the first team line up week in week out: namley King, Hobbs, Fryatt, Howard...

My worry after tonight is that we are quickly losing any fear factor that the so called lesser clubs may have had about us.
Imo this result sends the message to other teams and their fans, that Leicester are certainly nothing special and the points are there for the taking.
Its only 1 game but as i said in the first post that this is a result that could have bigger implications.
I hope Mandy has got some cotton wool, because if he thought that a few of us should be off to the pub before the game, then Rovers on Saturday could be a very uncomfortable afternoon for him.

Clemence is fcuked, proper fcuked

This season represents a point of no return for A LOT of people IMO, feck this up and it will take years to get people back.

We lost the 'fear factor' the second Millwall showed everyone that all you need to do against us is pack the midfield to stop us playing the ball through there. To be honest, we've been shite at home since the MK Dons match. Our central midfield is unable to win any sort of battle. I'd play 3-5-2 at home. My only problem is we've got nobody to play right wing back if Gilbert is out.

The squad needs a decent cetre midfield player and a striker and I can't see that changing even if Clemence makes miracle recovery and we get our injured strikers back. We should be looking at loans but Mandy is not allowing any extra expenses at the mo. Bad mistake.

totally agree

Every team goes through a dodgy patch in a season....lets just hope October has been our bad patch. I do agree that we need a decent attacking midfielder...King just doesn't have it imo also a decent striker, Howard hasn't got a clue where any of his team mates are his heading is ramdom and rarely finds a city player

Most of his knock ons go to the same place, to the side, if only Fryatt could realise this.
