According to Sky Sources Ulloa wants to leave. Apparently we aren't/wont be offering him a new improved contract. Also say that he will stay in England.

Will he be a big loss? Does this smack of greed on his part? Should we give him what he wants?

A big loss - not if we bring in another striker in his ilk.
Smack of greed - No. He's looking for some clarity on his future
Give him what he wants - Yes if Claudio sees him as an important part of the squad. No if he's happy to replace/upgrade him.

I think he is a very good player and if played regularly (which I'm not saying he should be - the Shinji/Jamie partnership worked very well last season) would score a very respectable amount of goals. I hope he stays with us. But I can totally understand if he'd rather move to a club with better first-team starting opportunities.

Keep him unless we can get better, simple.

Ulloa himself leaving wouldn't be too much of a problem providing we can find another target man type

And a very nice person (at least in the very short encounter I had with him).

Prick, his player is at the highest level he will ever be at.

Who will pay more?

Two years since he signed a deal with us. Since then he's scored 20 odd premier league goals and won a title. He has proven himself at this level.

I've no idea what contract he signed in 2014, but I'm willing to guess any number of domestic and foreign teams could beat it.

He was our largest transfer in history at the time, I would imagine he got a good deal.

He has also aged, just not sure he can get a massive deal elsewhere.
