Under 21s / Youth 2022/23

Premier League 2 is under 21s this season, rather than under 23s. But five over age outfield players are allowed, plus a goalkeeper.

The season starts with a home game against Spurs on Monday.

In the Papa John's trophy they've got games at Burton, Bradford and Sheff Weds.

In the international cup they play Valencia, Wolfsburg, Porto and Celtic.

Appiah, McAteer, Wormleighton and Maswanhise got the goals. Blackburn have had a man sent off.

Hopefully some get a chance against Newport in the League Cup.

Maswanhise has been scoring quite regularly this season so would be good to see him or the likes or Braybrooke or Alves get a chance too if we have a comfortable lead.

Hirst and Wright too but I'd imagine they will go out on loan again.
