That would be an apt description of 90% of his time on the pitch for the first team I think.

Unfortunately Gray hasn't really progressed past the potential stage, it may be that he just reached the limit of his ability, but I suspect he has an affliction that has affected many young players and will affect many more, that of thinking he is better than he is, and thus lacking the drive to improve. Being dropped from the squad may awaken that drive, but I think it may be too late for him.
