When I read your comment I thought it was going to be Carlisle.

Barrow is in the same county, but it's not the easiest journey. It takes more than 90 minutes to drive home from Holker Street. The direct train takes well over two hours, assuming there's one after the match.
I don't think I'll bother with that trip just to watch the under 21s.

They are. Not including Carlisle, I think the best draw would have been Morecambe, Sunderland and Barrow.

If I hadn't been to Accrington, Barrow or Fleetwood before I'd be tempted to go just to tick off a new ground.

I can’t think of when I’ve seen a player have a trial, without being out of contract. Seems a bit odd to me, but maybe I’m just not aware of this sort of stuff happening.

Yeah, didn't quite fulfill the potential we hoped he had, but has been a steady player and his pace will always mean he poses some threat.

The U23s didn't get relegated from the top league last season after all. More fantastic communication from the club.

It seems like they've had to balance the teams as a couple of new clubs have joined the second division.

The under 23s are playing at Manchester United this afternoon, 2PM kick-off. No live stream. Normally it would be shown on MUTV, but apparently it's not allowed if there's a Premier League game on at the same time.
