unlocking a Nokia 6300

Don't suppose anybody here works in a 'dodgy' phone shop?!

I've got an old Nokia 6300 locked to Orange that I want to use as a spare on any PAYG network and Orange want £20 for the unlock code even though I am well out of contract on it.

Anybody know if there is a free way to do this from the IMEI number? Tried loads of websites but nothing has worked so far.
