Really think again it is so open and I will probably say this for all majors this year, I am struggling to pick a few.

I like Rory, he is probably the only player in the field that if he gets going could tear it apart and win by 5 or 6 particularly if the forecasted rain happens and it becomes Congressional-esque. Maybe Stenson too and I have had a little wager on him, his high ball flight and his strong putting I'm hoping might see him through. Plus if he goes a bit wayward with the driver, he hits a monstrously long 3 wood.

I've read a few articles attempting to predict who will do well and the statisticians think driving distance, scrambling and bogey avoidance are key measures for this week. Sergio fits the bill perfectly but I just don't think he has the bottle, his putter fails him. Likewise Mickelson, he's changed his grip back to the claw 2 days before the start, which tells me he still doesn't have a clue with the putter. I like Bubba's chances, he's playing so well right now.

My picks would be: Rory, Bubba, Walker & Stenson.

As an outsider I am tempted to have a punt on Dubuisson, if the statisticians believe driving distance is key he's definitely the man on the European tour.
