Several years ago I made the registration terms as clear as it's possible to be. Any new member who posts a link of any kind in their first post without permission will be banned. Anyone who joins the site just to publicise something will be banned. No exceptions.

This was to clear up a grey area where some people thought joining just to post a link to their website/merchandise/youtube channel/survey etc doesn't count as spam if it's LCFC related.

So this person ticked a box that agreed to terms, with a clear warning right next to it that anyone who posts a link in their first post will be banned, then moments later posted a link. Twat. If he'd asked for permission he'd have got it. But thinking the rules don't apply to you the moment you register is always going to get a ban.
