OK, this news is a couple of months old but i just heard. I thought it was a joke but there are so many articles on the internet about it. This has just raised my concerns this movie will be awful!

I mean I can't think of anyone less like the character of Lynn.

I can understand getting someone well known for America audiences but is it even attended to be shown over there? will they get the humour?

Coogan doesnt need someone to fill the role of Lynn.

The only way i can see it working is if its a completely new character.

Can't believe this is the first I've heard of it. I love partridge, getting VB to play the part is quite weird.

Incidently there's also an American movie version of Father Ted being made, and even the actor playing Ted has doubts, he says that Brits don't give a shit about religion wheras Americans are scared of it, so the whole taking the piss out of Catholosism jokes aren't gonna be in the movie :icon_conf
