Thought the Villa stewards were among the best I have come across (ooh er!) at an away ground.

My missus fell down a double height step after the game and twisted her ankle. They were really good, took her down in the lift to the first aid room near the tunnel (kids got some great extra pictures) whilst I went for the car and were really great to her.

Even the poor steward who was trying to stop the smokers at half-time was doing it in a pleasant way!

When I finally managed to get round to the North Stand exit in my car the stewards were great again letting me double park to go and get the missus. Whilst she was hobbling out Tim Davies pulled up (Milan his passenger) and asked if there was anything they could do. Top blokes we have in charge and top stewards at Villa.

Not so impressed by the double step near the exit of block T seats 15ish though - they really ought to have a barrier thingy there.

You should contact Villa about this and make sure their good work is recogised.

must agree.. compared to how the forest scum stewards were the villa guys shown there premiership class! ha. we stood throughout the game without any complaint which is how it should be if a whole section of a stand chooses to stand up. doo do do do matty fryatt!!

I went in with my parents and got checked, he then said i couldnt stand up straight?

So he said to me i couldnt go into the ground, my dad asked to see the manager he then let me in, i only had 1 drink lol and was 100% fine. If i didnt get in that stand i did have a ticket for the other stand so i wasnt bothered.

hows the wifes foot and hve you put a claim in yet :icon_lol::icon_lol:;)

Just dropped her off at the Royal to be checked out. She'll be wanting to borrow your cripstix on Saturday Newts!

Funnily enough, listening to the tail end of the talkSport phone in when we got into the car and the first advert we heard was " have you been hurt in a fall or had an accident that wasn't your fault? Phone 0800......."

I think it was a general question, not related to the ankle injury.

The stewards I dealt with were feckin useless, showed one my ticket which clearly said block t3. and he said don’t worry about that mate you can go in here (blockP) queued for 10 minutes only to get to the turnstile to be told you cant come in this bit have to go round the corner.
