How do I stop it preventing me from copying certain files? Im using an admin account.

'windows user control' ive found it and disabled it feckin annoying that!!

Heres a slightly different issue for you. Ive got a new mobile and it came with a 128mb micro sd card which has some essential system files on. Ive bought a new 1Gb card so i can store more music etc on the phone but i cant transfer the system files as they seem protected and you just cant get them off the card or move them to the phones memory as they are locked. any ideas?

Have you tried just putting the 1Gb card in and firing the phone up?

Are the system files not stored on the phone itself?
They are on mine anyway, SonyEricsson w300i that I picked up for 50 bucks yesterday :icon_bigg.
like Steven said, can you not just slap in the 1Gb card & give it a try?

No, they are on the card, they arent system files as such, so firing the phone up doesnt help. The filles are screensavers, apps, themes, games etc. You cant do anything with them at all. Ive done some internet searching but cant find anyone acknowledging it as a problem. Its really feckin annoying cos it basically means by upgrading your mem card you lose half the stuff the phone came with :icon_roll

I had the same problem and the phone seemed to copy some files over and the other stuff you mentioned I downloaded from the Phone Co.
