The footballing public of Leicester should not have been surprised to see a two-fingered sign appear over their city yesterday morning.
If they did, it will almost certainly have been delivered by Peter Taylor, the manager they cruelly hounded out of the club four years ago.
Taylor faced a thankless task taking over from Martin O'Neill.But the treatment he recieved during his 15 months in charge was unacceptable.
He's got his own back now,though,by going in at Hull and masterminding back-to-back promotions for the Tigers.
Its clear he has a lot of talent and i say long may his success continue.

Anybody who can spend 5M on A. Akinbiyi and waste countless more on so many poor players deserved to be booted out.
We were the victims of Peter Taylor , not the other way round.
Taylor will probaly come good ,on the back of learning from his mistakes he made with us.
As for Chris Waddle, research your facts before writing such rubbish

How can managing a team in League 1 be compared to managing a team in the Premiership?
I used to like the guy when he was with the under 21's the first time round but he hasn't got what it takes to be a top flight manager, maybe a coach, but not a manager.

I agree the sun is a crap paper, but that is Waddles view not the sun's.
Does he not realise that Taylor was probaly the most damaging factor at our club in its entire history. Its something that we are still trying to repair 4 years on, and will probaly will be doing so for most of the next decade.
