Re: The annoying, but traditional, totally unfounded Summer 2011 rumours thread

Doubt hed go there (£10k/week cap in prem), their transfer record is |£1.25m , they have money but dont like spending. If we are going to loan him to a rival club id sooner it be to Bristol City as a sweetner for Maynard. Hopefully he bags loads of goals on tour and Sven sees his true potential

Waggy would be earning more on the bench than playing at Blackpool! Can't see it happening

Amazingly i think youll find it is (+ big bonus for staying up), thats the reason they struggle to buy anyone, that and a tight fisted chairman!

No chance the club'll go under though. Think a few fans of the other relegated clubs might wish they had that chairman now.

looks like hollogay is after waggers

Blackpool have been linked with a move for out-of-favour Leicester City forward Martyn Waghorn.

The 21-year-old has failed to win a regular place in the Foxes side since Sven-Göran Eriksson took over as boss last year and could be on his way out of the Walkers Stadium.

A hamstring injury sustained in April sidelined the former Sunderland trainee for the remainder of last season, which yielded a disappointing tally of 4 goals.

The young front-man has proved he can find the net though - notching 12 goals in 43 appearances for the Foxes during a season-long loan spell in 2009-2010 which prompted the club to sign him permanently for a fee in the region of £3million.

Can't see this happening, but if it does however it's inevitable that he will rip the league apart

why did you take my post down and replace it with yours? you said it was not a good source !
now because my post had more hits you swop it tut tut

We've already rejected a £1.2mil bid from Derby so why would we allow him to go to Blackpool for £1mil?

I didn't take your post down. I moved my post and some replies to it into this thread, so we're only discussing this rumour in one place instead of two. Mine is the first post in this thread because I posted it before you started this thread.
