Talented young Leicester City Academy graduate Wanya Marçal will spend the 2024/25 campaign on loan with Dutch Eerste Divisie side De Graafschap.
The 21-year-old winger, who enjoyed a breakthrough season in 2023/24 and signed a new long-term contract with the Club last year, will see his development continue on loan after an impressive 12 months.
As well as being a regular for the Club at Under-21s level, the Portugal youth international’s first team progress last season saw him make his full debut away to Huddersfield Town in the Sky Bet Championship, before scoring his first senior goal in a 2-1 win over Cardiff City a week later.
Those steps in his development came after his first senior Leicester City appearance as a substitute in a 4-1 win over Watford in the Emirates FA Cup Third Round on Filbert Way back in January 2022, while he was also named of the bench for three European fixtures that same season.
