Ihad a feeling we would go for him. Watched him on TV for Scotland against Sweden. Difficult to assess properely in a rout but he impressed me. Very tall and comfortable on the ball, although very left sided.

Im sure there would be other clubs interested.
Our Scottish contacts will surely know more about him.

I've got to say I'd rather see him spending that kind of money on attacking options! Over 1 millions a lot for any player in the championship never mind a defender. Connolly and Williams were only £ 500000! although maybe that shows...
