This guy wants Coleman or Jewell! What a tit....

"There's no other logical answer. Chris Brown. Errr Powell."

Please stop saying Powell

I'd rather him than a lot of names being banded around. Would rather have an unproven manager than a manager proven to be shit.

I have championed Kenny Jackett for like the last 6 times this situation has come up, and will do again. Also wouldn't mind O'Driscoll or Howe.

Not convinced by Sousa in the slightest.

I think Don would be found wanting in this day and age.

Why the **** am I listening to this freak show?

I have a mental image of all of the callers throwing their own shit around while on the phone

There'd be a buzzing noise round the Walkers not too different to the vuvuzelas if we got Sousa. 20 odd thousand people snoring at once would be interesting.

Gary Neville!!
Come on which of you rang up with that one.:-)
Someone else heard that its Sven! MM signing him up with Sven putting his hard earned cash in to take part ownership!

Sven has been in Africa, Milan is on safari .......

If we can't afford to pay compensation he's a good bet - all of the out of work managers named so far in connection with the job are out of work for a reason. With the exception of Curbishley (who I can't see coming here) they have all failed, specifically at the Championship level. Powell looks like he has the makings of a good manager so I would much rather take the shot on his potential rather than the other candidates' known quantity.

What is a known quantity ?

Even Dowie had one decent spell, whilst at Palace.

Who ever is appointed will be wrong in someones eyes.
