The answers are normally delayed for a couple of weeks because of the televised (delayed games), but as the whole division that involves TB teams is complete, I will see if I can find out the answers.

Having said that, there must be two TBers who can tell us what they are!

Just having a look at the questions and I would bet quite a few put Peter Shilton in answer to number 1 - the question didn't say the player had to be playing for City at the time, so I'll bet that is one that people have got wrong. Answer should have been Gavin Ward who did it whilst playing for Tranmere last month, I would think.

The question said 'just recently'. McCarthy has over 60 starts to his credit. Nissa, and more recently Hughsie, have just gone past the 50 mark.

Did you include Cup games? - the question didn't specify league games.

I also took the first question was meant to be in a city shirt!

'City keeper past or present' was what was asked. No mention of who he was playing for at the time.


Now you will be realising why everybody doesn't score 5 every week.

To be honest, I'm not sure whether it was Hughes or Nissa that last reached his 50th start. If you think the quizmaster has marked you incorrectly, send him a note on [email protected] He has been known to chnage his mind.

Tharcher is definitely wrong - he has already been sentenced. The question was about who had been charged.

Not sure at all about the managers - but you know who to take it up with.


It might be helpful to consider the answer on the date the question was asked. If it changes before you submit your answer, say so in your answers - this can avoid misunderstandings.

In the end the quizmaster's ruling is going to be final, but there's no harm in asking him to check that he is right.
