Leave the M6 at J8 and join the M5. Leave the M5 at J1 and take the first exit (A41 Birmingham Road), the ground will be on the right on side after approx ¼ mile.

Street parking is available, there are also several industrial units that offer matchday parking on the approach roads to the ground.

Trains:

2 trains an hour from Leicester to Birmingham New Street. You can walk to either Moor Street or Snow Hill for connecting services to The Hawthornes station.

An off peak day return is £10.00

Pubs:

The Park Hotel, which is on Birmingham Road just as you leave the M5 welcomes away fans, and is really about the only place near to the ground. For those arriving by train, you may be best to have a few drinkies in Birmingham before heading to the ground.

I would probably reccomend the Shakespear near new street station as a fairly decent pub. there really is nothing near the ground.

Go in the newt under the station. Weatherspoons include the Briar Rose or the Square peg both about 5 mins walk from new st. I used to frequent the Sunflower Lounge - go out the very front entrance and turn right at tk maxx and its the other side of subway - awesome little boozer
