Does that make him a free agent now but he still has to stay with Northampton till the end of season?

Some places are saying we have paid off his contract so as a free agent (and presumably cancelled his registration) he not going out on loan which other places say he has until the end of the season.

Some places are saying we loaned him out to Northampton until the end of the season which must mean he is still under contract to us until the end of the season. As such we would then have not paid up his contract.

Both stories cannot be true unless we have paid off his contract and we still hold his registration, something I am sure Benji himself would surely not put up with.

it all seems pretty conflicting but the official site says benji has simply been loaned out - i think this is the most likely version of events - theres no benefit for us to pay off his whole wage bill now and lose a potential playing asset without making any big financial gain

Yeah I thought both stories arn't adding up right.

I still can't get my head wrong Norwich offering £500k for Scowcroft which was the other part of that story right? I said I while back "I believe we can get something for him, even now" but I'd have guessed around £50-100k max.
