All the talk (naturally) is about the manager and players.

but i think we should make some big changes in the coaching staff.

IMO we have players, who with the right coaching could do well in this league. Too many goals conceeded from set peices and sloppy defending. this can be sorted with good coaching. also hume and fryatt have both proved they can finish, we need to keep them sharp.

Also the youth that break thru are quickly degrading, better coaching will help.

Obviously we need a goal keeping coach. and i would like to see Tags as a defensive coach

I understand the manager will have to sort this out, but i think if we get this right, it will have a big impact on our fortunes.

Well, don't touch the Academy, clearly that's a success.....Aside from that I would imagine a new manager may want to have his own team.

I could not agree with you less.... Our first-team squad is completely shit. We need a bus load of new players and a completely new first-team coaching staff. You could get Harry Houdini in as coach and he would not be able to magically turn Maybury, Hughes, Hammond and co. into decent players

Other way around for me. If you get 'professional', good footballers. You should walk this division.

One of the first things Roy Keane did at Sunderland was bring in one of our coaches - Tony Laughlan (?) And now they've been promoted Keane has said publicly their success is all down to the coaches that work with the players
