It wouldn't suprise me, he's proven at a higher level and does a lot of work. But then I'm not one of the Howard haters.

Doesn't surprise me either, IMO Howard was and still is a quality striker at Championship level. As for Fryatt, many in football will be all to blissfully aware of Matty's previous form over the past two seasons and whether he really is capable of playing consistently well at a higher level.

Without Howard leading the line we are nothing IMO. His loss would cause more damage than all of the others named put together
