Who, if anyone, are you voting for as Mayor of Leicester?

I'm not voting in this, as I'm not currently in Leicester, but I'm just interested to see how bothered people are about it.

One of the candidates, Lee Sowden, is someone who I used to live in the same block as when I was in halls of residence last year. I don't think he'd be very suitable though. He's from Devon and probably had never even visited Leicester until 2009 he went to university there.

He announced in March that he would not be standing. Part of his reasoning for not standing was that there might be unpopular decisions to be made and he didn't want to be unpopular.

Oh right. Haven't taken much interest in it all as I don't live in leics. Last I heard was at a "legends" evening where he was banging on about it.
