Tend to agree, Luke. I would imagine that even the so called better players of the current squad such as Hume, Fryatt, Kisnorbo, Stearman, McAuley and Weso would be sold if the right offer came in.
 
maybe deals for some of the above particularly Kisnorbo is already done judging by the number of defenders we are linked too.

Wouldn't be such a disaster if we had a complete new starting 11 next season to me!

Stearman, better players.... used in the same sentance, that is a first
 
I think Hammond and Douglas will both leave. Tiatto will leave as his contract has run out now. I think Max Gradel will probably leave as well since he doesn't appear to have a future here. De Vries will leave too I should think. Possibly Kenton too but it's quite unlikely.

Well he's about 20 now and he hasn't made any appearances at all. I think if he was going to make a breakthrough like Porter or Stearman have done, it would have happened now. I mean can you seriously see him making at least 20 appearances next season?

Next season we will (hopefully) has a ressie team ,will make a world of difference to the youth setup and injured players.
 
Weren't we going to be increasing the size of the squad? I thought I saw MM saying that it won't be about getting rid of players but increasing the size of the squad as there will be a reserve team.

There may be one or two on their way but can't see many more than that

Good afternoon,

This morning I have met up with Alan Maybury, Elvis Hammond and Stephen Hughes.

I have informed the players, fact to face, that they have been made available for transfer with immediate effect.

I hope that by making this decision now it gives them the opportunity to find themselves another club.

I would like to make it quite clear that it is nothing personal - nothing they have done wrong. But I have got to make some changes.

People on the periphery may have to make way. To give them this news now, even though it may be in the middle of their summer, gives them the opportunity to get themselves fixed up at a new club.

he needs a big squad for the following season and i think he is prob expecting bids for some of the other players. but if you think who else can we get rid of, i think there are players who have the talent but just dont show it, they just need the right manager and Allen must think he can get the best out of some of these players i.e levi, stearman, paddy M,

He has been offered a new contract. ;)

I swear he's younger than 20, he only looks about 15 and that's in real life.
