as for this "bin manager" you talk of, sounds interesting.... i've been saying for quite a while that someone needs to sort out all the rubbish

Would be another Martin Keown/Dion Dublin situation - he would be coming in the hope that Allen fails so he can take the job, and would therefore undermine him completely.
