Nothing to do with the Tigers.

Its been moved on the instructions of the safety advisory group due to fears of trouble with the Cov fans.

3 other fixture clashes though the club & Tigers have combined & persuaded the SAG to allow both of us to play with Tigers kicking off 15 mins before us - so 3pm Saturday kick off's have mainly been maintained & the club has worked hard to achieve this.

trouble is, making it 15 mins difference in kick off times isn't going to make that much difference IMO for the parking situation.
it'll STILL be as bad.

and if they are that worried about potential trouble with Cov fans why is it still a 3pm kick off on the sunday?? surely making it midday would prevent fans from using the local pubs???

thats correct beaumont 3.00pm on a sunday aint going to be a lot difference to a saturday

The 15mins idea is so all Tigers fans have gone home (given shorter match duration) before City fans leave the Walkers, so save problems afterwards. Agree that it makes no difference to the parking difficulties.

The feedback we had sometime back from fans however was that 3pm Saturday was the number 1 item on the agenda to protect at all costs.

The decision about the Sunday game is purely down to the Safety Advisory Group, obviously they believe Sunday is a day of rest for all those intent on fighting (yeah right)

this'll back fire IMO because most of our home fans go home about 25 minutes early which will coincide with all the kick and clap fans.

Just means Tiggers fans have to get there early and nick all the parking spaces

Make 'em kick off at night or something - they're all old codgers or geeks anyway so they've got nowhere to go on a Saturday night

Controversial.
