It came from a free kick taken at least 5 yards inside where the offence took place (ie on the touchline).
Im not saying it would have made a difference to the result but rules are rules and it was taken from the wrong place!
Having said that the referee should have sent Danny off. Another mistake he made.

Im not sure Roberts couldnt have gone too. He also fouls walker before theyre 2nd, on the replay walker is clearly looking the wrong way when Ormorod wins the header.


Either way though we need to learn to defend and score from corners. We do not look dangerous from set pieces.

You could hear him hit the Wigan player in the face for his booking; the guy infront of me commented that it wasn't a free kick in a month of sundays :roll:

He also slated Mdv (as did may others) before 13 mins had past and had shouted to get him off, then moaned when his performance was crap!

What does he expect, if you shout Get him off before the game is even in full swing how do you expect that player to have the confidence to do anything? The guy is a Jackass.

I thought paddy was more clumsy than malicious for both the 'elbow' incident and the foul he got the yellow for. A yellow for the pair and a talking to was most appropriate.
