Asda have an offer on a Wii console, Sega Tennis, Sega Brain Academy and Wii accessory pack for for £179 - offer ends on Sunday.

Should I snap their hands off or are there better offers out there? Kids are insistent but I like to make sure I am getting a good deal.

I've not seen a wii deal as good as that before.


But I think the Wii has been in such short supply the shops that had them in stock didn't need to do any offers to sell them, everywhere sold the standard Wii for £179, with nothing extra bundled. Some places sold bundles that cost more than the individual items combined, because they knew they would sell.

But if the shortages are now over maybe there will be other good deals in the future.

Asda often have good offers on things that aren't in stock, mobile phones for instance, as I found out last Christmas. Unless you actually see one on the shelf, I wouldn't get your hopes up.
