I think Wilf has been tremendous lately. An incredible engine, an improved range of passing and a real maturity to his play.

N'golo who?

Yes, Ndidi is coming on nicely. I hope he stays with us a bit, he's only a youngster and will only get better with match practice. Becoming more of a Pogba than a Kante perhaps?

Wow, good stuff. I feel like he got massively swamped at the start of the season because we were so tactically poor and couldn't keep the ball at all. He looks a lot more confident now in a better system and has had a few really good games next to Iborra. Something I've noticed come into his game more since Claude was hired is Ndidi simply having a quick look over his shoulder and turning to open the play up and switch the ball. Basic, I know but then I really don't think he was getting the attention such a young player needs until recently.

I think his game will only improve now that we have two more really experienced, classy players in Iborra and Silva. It's a very different midfield to what we've been used to but I think it's going to be great.

Drinkwater, Kante, King, Inler and James

or

Ndidi, Iborra, Silva, James and King?

?

It is excellent, but as with all stats, you need some context. A player in a team like ours that doesn't keep possession has more opportunities to make tackles than someone in a team that keeps the ball well. But even taking that into account, he's well above anyone else in the Premier League
True. Kante's tackles and interceptions have dropped since joining Chelsea because they keep the ball much more than us.

What has impressed me lately with Wilf is his use of the ball once he has won possession and the fact that he is not just winning tackles, he tends to win possession and then move the ball on to players in good positions.
