A spurious rumour i've read off a reliable(?) website. But has anyone else heard off it?

"Man City set to sign Leicesters Gareth Williams in January. Stuart Pearce knows him from their time at Forest together. Fee to be around £1m."


I reckon we should hold out for £3m though!

If the rumour about a transfer for Williams to Man City is true, and if its true they are offering a million, then why not hang out for a bit more, if they are daft enough to pay 1 million, they are probably daft enough to pay 2.

He does seem rather surplus to requirements and he has never hit his best form, obviously talented but wheres the beef? Grab the cash if its on.

Williams is one Leicester player that really annoys me, he is without a doubt a fantastic player with bags of skill but just drifts for 90 mins without imposing himself on games against opposition he should be commanding.
